Our Reviews
Why do you need
auto leasing software? Why spend money at all?
- Using auto leasing software
can save you $1500 or more.
- Car dealers use it and so
should you. Analyze your old leases with it. You'll be
shocked.
- Car dealers can often "pad"
your payment. Leasing software prevents this.
- It catches dealers who sneak
in unwanted extended warranties, credit life, VIN# window
etching.
- Car dealers don't want to show
you the total cost of your lease. Software does.
- Car leasing is too confusing
to do it in your head. You can't rely on dealers.
- Leasing is a contract. Once
you sign, it's too late to undo a bad deal.
- You can figure out what you
should pay before even going to the dealers.
- You can look up new car
prices, rebates, dealer cost, and residual values.
How to deal directly with the leasing company
Auto Leasing Direct is a web site that allows you to
lease directly from the leasing company thus eliminating dealer
mark-up on the financing terms. Their partners have agreed to
provide competitive leasing with full disclosure of terms
directly to you, all without the hassles and scams found at
dealerships. Talk directly with leasing companies who have
agreed to provide competitive leasing on select makes with full
disclosure of terms directly to our visitors, all without the
hassles and scams found at some dealerships. There is no cost or
obligation for you to participate.
Empower yourself with lease
payment quotes, don't be a victim of your next lease
DON’T BE MISLED by services that claim to provide you with
comparative quotes. Look closely. Do you see a list of lenders?
Probably not. Do you see a credit application? Probably so
because the same service that is giving you a quote is trying to
lease you a vehicle! That means the quotes you see represent the
terms on which THEY will lease you a car, and NOT necessarily
what the most competitive lenders in the market are offering
through most any dealership.

Competitive
lease quotes give you the lowest lease payments
You don't have to accept
the first lease payment dealers throw out at you. Try
Lease Wizards's Live Lender Quote (L.L.Q.) giving
you 6 lease quotes from major lenders in your area, giving
you the actual residual values, money factors, fees,
mileage allowances, exactly the same information the
dealer’s finance manager sees on their computer. Use it
to bargain with your dealer on a lease. That alone is
worth its weight in gold and can save you a couple of
thousand. If they try to charge you too much, you can show
them the quotes from up to 6 lenders and make them honor
the price. On
Lease Wizards's site, choose "L.L.Q. Center".

Chart Software
just added a
$24.95 Lite version of their Expert Lease Pro. The Lite
version has no car prices, only residuals with typically
configured MSRP (no prices, options, or rebates). Look that up
elsewhere on the web. You still get toll free phone support with
the Lite version. There are a few functional differences listed
in the matrix on their home page. With all the extra features
and unlimited toll free phone support in the full pro version, I
recommend you get the
Expert Lease Pro.
The Pro version
also has free "RealTime Lease Quotes(tm)", which allows you to
get on-line instant quotes from multiple lenders from within the
software. if you like the quote you can actually lease the car
from the lender at the quoted rate.
If you buy
LeaseWizard's Auto Lease & Loan Analysis Kit for $24.95,
it has most of the features left out by the "Lite" version of
Expert Lease, and no phone support. You may not need help.
If you
can't check a car dealer's math on a lease, you may be getting
ripped off. Anyone who leases a car without using auto lease
payment software is a victim. One of the most common complaints
we receive is about dealers slipping in the VIN# window etch
option, or an extended warranty, often lying to you and saying
it's not there. But how can you tell if it's included in your
payment if you don't know what your monthly car lease payment
should be? This can add $25 to your auto lease payment. Since
you don't know how to calculate auto lease payments, this would
get past you if you did not use car leasing software. |
Florida
Attorney General investigating "allegedly deceptive
practices".
Florida's Attorney
General said: "Consumers wishing to terminate their lease
early would call Ford to ask what the early termination
penalty would be. Ford would refuse to tell them, sending
them to the dealers. The dealers would then overcharge them
for the penalty by $300-$2000! This is just one type of
payment packing scheme that car dealers have available to
them."
The
attorney general said investigators believe Ford Motor
Credit may have provided training and materials to Ford and
Lincoln Mercury sales employees to help them exploit
consumers.
We don't want to
pick on Ford, this can happen anywhere. You must be diligent
in protecting yourself. Car dealers know what your lease
payment should be, they can quote you $20 more per month,
you have no way to verify it, and you're happy with the
numbers, so you sign, not knowing you got duped! |
Every
person who leases should be using the same type of automobile
lease calculator that car dealers use. On this site you'll see
our recommendations for the discount buying services like
InvoiceDealers,
Autoweb,
Car.com,
Autobytel,
CarsDirect ,
and
AutoUSA.
But without leasing software you're sailing the ocean of
confusion, and dealers will swallow you whole. You should
use lease software to study the cars you are interested in
leasing, so that you'll know the lease better than the car
salesman. Remember, they are using similar lease software on
their computer to scam you. But if you already have the
software and researched all the payment data for your car, any
crooked finance manager won't have a foot to stand on, and you
can save literally
thousands of dollars over the life of the lease or in up front
fees. Lots of people ask me where to get
residual values from the ALG guides. Previously we had no way
to get ALG data, nor did anyone know how leases worked, and so
thousands of consumers were ripped off by crooked dealers and it
still goes on all the time because most buyers don't know how to
calculate leases or how they work. But now there's software to
the rescue.

early termination, hidden costs. Used by lenders and
dealers for training.
LeaseWizard figures taxes and prints easy to read
lease reports in the Regulation M format that I advocate.
You can instantly download a demo version free, then buy
your unlock code later. Many car dealers use it to
calculate your lease, and you should too, so you can stop
them in their tracks if they play games with you. It's
useful to solve for hidden costs, catching the dealer
padding your lease payment. It can accept money factors,
cap costs and residuals as well as APR interest rates.
LeaseWizard also includes residual values and
sticker prices for most late model vehicles. A step-by-step guide walks you
through the process, and you can look up Money Factors
through their web site. Created by attorney and former VP of
Carpoint, Michael Kranitz who has
appeared
on radio and TV programs and in countless magazines and
newspapers.
The LeaseWizard kit
includes the highly acclaimed book
Look Before You Lease. Kranitz’ book is used by
national banks, car dealers and leasing companies to train
their sales staffs. It
covers monthly payments to lease tax and disclosure laws.
It reviews how
leasing works, how monthly lease payments are calculated,
lease taxes, lease disclosure laws, used car leasing,
leasing jargon and more. It's a very useful guide to have.

Their Leasing Hot-Line(TM) and toll
free technical support give you exceptional assistance with
your questions on leasing or buying. Spending $69 now saves
you thousands in lease rip-offs which happen daily. Based
on the leasing complaints many readers email to us,
the average lease scam siphons
$1500 from the buyer.
A common scam is stealing your trade-in by fudging confusing
numbers on a lease contract, which most people don't know
how to read. You also get a free copy of Consumer Advocate
Mark Eskeldson's book "Leasing Lessons". He does a lot of
under cover work. You can start using
Expert Lease Pro within
minutes. Plaintiff attorneys use it to sue crooked car
dealers, I use it, and many state attorney generals use it
to investigate leasing fraud.
So should you.
Your
steps for using Expert Lease:
1) Use it to price
your car. It lists the dealer invoice cost and MSRP for the
base model and all the options. Just check off the options
and the software lists accurate invoice and MSRP pricing.
2) Look up
residual values using built-in data. This tells you how much
the car will be worth at the end of the lease.
3) The included
CarDeals Rebate & Incentive report shows factory to dealer
incentives and factory to consumer rebates for your car.
4) Add the sales
tax & interest rate, and the software tells you your monthly
payments. There's space for closing costs too. |
Use
either of the above software packages to check your old leases
or a friend's lease to get practice with it. I'll bet you would
never in a million years have signed that lease if you used
Expert Lease at the time. Also use it to calculate how much you
would spend if you bought the car instead. |
